Something To Live For

This is the first story I have ever shown anyone, let alone published for strangers to see. I have written short stories since my teens but I was never compelled to make them any more than that.

I found myself writing this ongoing tale and I just could not stop. I am totally obsessed with where this character will go and what decisions he will make in this bizarre, foreign world that feels oddly familiar thanks to AMC's The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead Comic Books and films like 28 Days Later and Zombieland. This story is about a broken mans journey to find something to live for in the face of tragedy.
